DMCA Policy
Last Updated: December 11, 2024
Humypaa respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy ("DMCA Policy") describes how Humypaa responds to claims of copyright infringement and how you may submit a takedown notice or a counter-notification.
1. Notification of Claimed Infringement
If you believe that content available on or through humypaa.com infringes one or more of your copyrights, you may submit a written notification to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your notification must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on the platform.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Please send all DMCA takedown notices to our designated copyright agent using the contact information below:

We recommend sending notices by email to ensure prompt receipt and processing. Notices sent by post may take longer to process.
3. Our Response to Takedown Notices
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, Humypaa will:
- Review the notice to verify that it meets the requirements described above.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly where technically and operationally feasible.
- Notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed or disabled.
- Provide that user with a copy of the takedown notice (with your personal contact information redacted where appropriate).
We reserve the right to decline to act on notifications that are incomplete, inaccurate, or do not comply with the requirements set forth in this policy.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your counter-notification must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the location where you reside, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within ten (10) business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material or re-enable access to it at our discretion.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Humypaa maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is any user who has been the subject of two or more valid DMCA takedown notices within any twelve-month period, or who we otherwise determine to be engaging in a pattern of copyright infringement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately and without prior notice where we have reason to believe that a user is a repeat or willful infringer.
6. Misrepresentation
Please be aware that knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA takedown notice or counter-notification may expose you to civil liability, including damages, court costs, and attorneys' fees. Before submitting a notice or counter-notification, we strongly recommend consulting with a qualified legal professional to assess your claim.
7. Good Faith Consideration
Humypaa will consider whether the use of the material in question may constitute fair use or another applicable exception before taking any action. We will also take into account any other relevant factors that may affect the appropriate response to a given notice.
8. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the platform following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
